Bula Is Sky High With
Praise
Newton, NJ -- Bula restaurant is "flying high" since
American Airlines recommended the 134 Spring Street, Newton, restaurant in its American Way magazine. Bula, in
fact, is one of only two restaurants American
Way spotlighted in its October issue.
Bula (pronounced boola) is a
Tahitian greeting meaning life; but in referring to the restaurant, might more
accurately be translated to "attitude". "Chef/owner Bradley
Boyle cooks up a storm in the kitchen, creating a constantly changing
international menu," states American
Way, which also noted that the dining room was
"delightful". Bula has been able to offer its customers the unique
combination of a world cuisine with all the warmth, charm and friendliness of a
neighborhood spot since opening its doors in 2001.
Boyle’s open kitchen, the eclectic décor and the
"live" jazz that resonates from Bula most Friday evening combines to
offer residents an oasis at which to meet friends or just relax and enjoy
cosmopolitan fare. American Way also praised Bula’s jazz performances and Karl
Latham, who books the Friday-night music events.
